What 3 words: The app that could save your life
Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service, Devon & Cornwall Police and the UK Coastguard are all now using the What3words app to locate and rescue people across the South West and they may need to help you one day.
The problem with post codes around here is that there can be a number of houses all on the same post code. So often the courier can’t find you or a vistor goes to the wrong place. We’ve often had our visitors resued by someone in the village when they get lost looking for us!
Help emergency services find you quickly
But more importantly what happens if you’re out on the farm or just taking a stroll some way from your house and have an accident, or you’re walking on Exmoor or along the coast and get lost? You need help urgently. You;re not sure where you are, a bit confused or just can’;t explain your location accurately?
It’ll take time for the services to find you. The great thing about this app is that it will help emergency services find you quickly if you are in trouble.
