National Premiere of 'The Wild Tour' of Devon film

Here’s something to delight us!

In partnership with Bideford Film Society, Beaford is screening the national premiere of a film called ' The Wild Tour’ of Devon with LIVE IN PERSON Q&A with professional theatre maker Daniel Bye, musician & esteemed trail runner Boff Whalley (from Chumbawamba fame) and film maker Bevis Bowden at Kingsley Theatre, Bideford, on Wednesday 25 May at 7.45pm (doors 7.15pm).

Here’s a trailer of the film. https://youtu.be/dLYcqCUIfzs

Tickets £6-£4.50 (plus booking fee) available from https://beaford.org/events/thewildtour

The film showcases our GLORIOUS Devon scenery. It’s 60 minutes in duration and features Daniel Bye and Boff Whalley’s epic 120 mile running adventure from Northam Burrows to Dartmouth last year - down Devonshire lanes, forgotten public footpaths and bracing moorland - performing their show ‘These Hills are Ours’ at five outdoor spaces along the way, as part of a co-commission with Beaford.

It’s running, music, theatre performance and the stunningly beautiful Devon landscape all thrown into one inspiring, easy watching, documentary film. A real delight.

Kingsley Theatre has a capacity of 260 (viewable for film) comfy seats, a massive cinema screen and professional sound system, so it will be a fabulous experience! Dan, Boff and Bevis are travelling back to Devon from Lancaster and London for the evening and are excited to be able to answer questions from the floor afterwards.

Please help bring audiences back to our North Devon community spaces (especially to share in something made in Devon!) and share with family and friends.
